Ukraine’s Studies of an Angular Structure of Space Radio Sources with Decameter Wavelength Interferometers

The creation of the URAN radio interferometer system with the angular resolution limit about 1 arc second is discussed. The basic characteristics of these instruments and the original experimental data measurement and processing procedures which help obtaning most probable models of brightness distribution of space radio sources at the decameter wavelengths are described. The measurements are illustrated by typical examples of the observed radio galaxy 3C234 and quasar 3C254. Research prospects for this area are discussed too.
